You may have seen a lot of buzz about a new website called Bookshop.org – and we’re proud to say that Rossiter Books is taking part. It’s a new way to discover books and buy online, and offers an ethical alternative to Amazon whilst supporting independent bookshops.
So you may be wondering – should I still support my bookshop directly, or should I buy books through Bookshop.org? So here are the three best ways to support our shop:
In Monmouth you are able to shop with us as normal.
In Ross-on-Wye we are staffing our store each morning (9.30 – 12, Mon – Sat) so you can either order via phone, email or social media if you wish to come in person to the store to collect the books. If you wish the books to be sent to you then please buy through our storefront on Bookshop.org.
We are not reopening our Leominster store until lockdown has ended so please use our Bookshop.org site
To explain how Bookshop.org works: when you first visit Bookshop.org by clicking on the link above, it will set a cookie and any books you buy on the site will be credited to us.
You will know that you are visiting the right bookshop because our name and profile picture will appear in the top left of the page or on your smartphone. If for any reason a different bookshop is displayed – simply click on the above storefront link again, or cut and paste it into your browser window.
Thanks as always for your fantastic support of our bookshop through these very challenging times. It is very much appreciated.
